Figueres (20 km)

Visit the Dali Theatre-Museum, which houses an impressive collection the works of Dali--one of the most famous surrealist painters. Don't forget to take in the Museum of L'Empordà and the Toy Museum, which has an extensive collection of historic toys. Figueres is the biggest village in the area, with a wide variety of shops to explore.

Cadaqués (50 km, following the "Dali Route")

This charming and romantic village, tucked away on the Costa Brava, is where Salvador Dali spent a lot of time with his good friends Lorca and Buñuel, and his beloved Gala. In nearby Port Lligat, you can explore the house where Dali used to live. 

Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes (40 km)

Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes is situated in the middle of the Albera mountain range. This visit is a must for all nature-lovers. Feel a connection to the past while taking in breath-taking views of the Creus Cape, the most Eastern point of the Iberian Peninsula.

Ruïnes d'Empúries (50 km)

This is where the Greeks first set foot on the Iberian Peninsula. The Greek settlement was later occupied by the Romans. You can now visit the well-preserved ruins, which date back to both the Greek and Roman periods. Ruinas de Ampurias also boasts the first commercial port to be established on the peninsula.

Girona (55 km)

Visit the old cathedral and explore the Jewish quarter. Take a walk up and down las Ramblas and allow yourself to be captivated by the old houses overlooking the Onyar River.

L'Estartit and the Medas Islands (60 km)

Sail along the rugged coast and enjoy the spectacular landscape.
